Palm Mar has been around for about 30 years but in recent years there has been a lot of development here. Many people coming arrive in Palm Mar that have never been before and have found Palm Mar completely by accident but after only spending a few hours here have fallen in love with our small town. It is a very quiet town as it is classed as residential, you will not find loud bars and throngs of holiday makers just ex pats from many European countries who have made Palm Mar their home and many that have bought apartments for quiet holidays. A large proportion of retired clients have bought in Palm Mar for a bolt hole to spend the winter months away from the cold European weather. As you enter Palm Mar you come under a miniature version of the Marbella arch and proceed down a main road flanked by Palm Trees and you get the feeling that you have found somewhere special. There are not many signposts for Palm Mar on the Island, in fact I guess the nearest signpost giving directions to Palm Mar is around 3 km away and I have only counted two signposts for Palm Mar. The lack of signpost could mean then that Palm Mar is Tenerife’s best kept secret. Palm Mar has shops, bars, cafe’s, restaurants, a bank and a supermarket and a splendid sea front promenade. What our visitors do like about Palm Mar is the peace and quiet, no crime and the community spirit where everyone knows everyone. A place where it is safe for your children to play and a place where you can safely walk back from a restaurant late at night in perfect safety. We have for sale in Palm Mar a very good selection of affordable Villas, Houses and Apartments. The long term future is bright for Palm Mar as it will remain a small exclusive resort. There can be no more building to expand Palm Mar that much as you have the Sea to the front and the Guazza mountain and a nature reserve to the sides. Palm Mar now has a Bus service so other areas of Tenerife including Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas are easily accessible.
